onM-Class 2002 Fall Trip to Death Valley

Vehicle requirements:

All stock M-Class vehicles are suitable for this trip

However, I strongly discourage owners of vehicles with a lowered suspension to participate - you will damage your vehicle!

If you have a running board, I also recommend you either take it off before the trip or you might inflict some damage.

Also, if you run extremely low ratio tires (45 or smaller series - like 285/45R19) you run the risk of severe tire damage.

If you have mud flaps (splash guards) installed you will have to be extra cautious when reversing - when a flap gets between a rock and the tire it might get pulled off.
