Ideally the first group will arrive in Lone Pine (Owens Valley) on Friday 10/3 early evening. I recommend making reservations at the Dow Villa Motel - a great place! Call me for a possible dinner get together 323.646.3856

If you come in late, we should meet at one of the breakfast places around 8 am. Don't know which one yet - just look for many G parked up front. My cell phone is 323.646.3856

Some of our group will use the Diaz Lake campground in Lone Pine.

At this point it looks like that more participants will join us on Sunday, Monday. You'll find an itinerary of the first days (and the locations of our first camp locations) here...

Since there is no celll phone coverage out there anywhere and the family radios don't read far, you will have meet the group at the advertised camp spots. I will add GPS coordinates to the itinerary page.
