Be nice to your tires

Traveling on dirt roads is especially rough on your tires - tire failure is the #1 cause for break downs when off-road.

Usually we are pretty good in avoiding danger for our front tires.

However, we are not so talented keeping harm away from our rear tires, especially the right rear. They get scuffed, scraped and bruised easily.
If you turn a moment too early

Unfortunately, bruised tires will eventually fail and leave you stranded.

The reason why the right rear tire is ten times more likely to get damaged is because it is the farthest away from the driver and the fact that rear tires follow a different path than the front ones - this is called "wheel cheat".
Here are more tips how to watch out for your tires.

For possible tire punctures I highly recommend to carry a puncture kit
