Gas tank
The ML's gas tank is made from a very strong polyurethan meeting even demanding military specs (similar gas tank used in the famous Gelaendewagen) - however, the tank sits disturbingly low. Due to the limited ground clearance I brushed over a lot of sharp objects and my gas tanks displays several scars on the leading edge.
Recently (5/2002) one of my clients hit a rock on a dirt road in Baja and cut his tank open.
